   My ancestors come from Poland and Germany.  I have decided to do this paper on Poland because my nationality is made up more of Polish than German.  Poland is an ancient nation that was made near the middle of the 10th century.   Poland regained its independence in 1918, after its golden age in the 16th century.   Poland became a Soviet Satellite state following World War II.   Poland's flag is made up of two colors.   These two colors are Red and White.   These two colors stand for something.   The color of Poland's flag go back to the Piast dynasty and relates to the White Eagle on a red field.   In Poland there were many Holocaust concentration camps.   One of the main concentration camps was in Poland, and it had writing on it meaning something for those who were in the camp.  There are also many Polish food's which I do not eat.   I only eat one of the many foods from Poland.   This type of food is called Gawumpkee.  In these pages you will find a lot of things concerning Poland.  There are many sites you can visit regarding Poland, I have only included a few in my links page.  Also on the Images page I have created you can see some pictures displaying places in Poland.
